One of the teens convicted in the Jena Six beating case is recovering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Monroe police say 18 year old Mychal Bell was taken to a hospital after he shot himself in the chest Monday. They say the wound is not life-threatening. Police think he was upset about media coverage of his arrest on Christmas Eve on shoplifting charges. .
